London based artist, with a passion for abstract impressionism
About
Born in Lebanon, during a time of conflict, I found solace in the Mediterranean Sea. Its azure waters, sun-drenched shores, and timeless beauty offered a stark contrast to the turmoil that surrounded me. This early experience shaped my artistic vision, imbuing my work with a deep-seated appreciation for both the fragility and resilience of the human spirit.
Now a London-based artist, I continue to draw inspiration from the coastal landscapes that have captivated me since childhood. My paintings are a love letter to this region, capturing the interplay of light and shadow, the textures of weathered rocks, and the endless expanse of the horizon. I use palette knives to create rich, textured surfaces, reminiscent of the sun-warmed cliffs and sandy beaches I've explored.
Influenced by the Impressionists and contemporary painters, I strive to evoke emotion through my work. Each painting is a journey, a reflection on the beauty of the world and the enduring power of human resilience. I hope that my art offers a moment of peace, a place to get lost in, and a way to connect with the timeless beauty of this coastal paradise.
